Corey created Home Team Insurance to fight against a world that seems to be moving online, discouraging face to face meetings, and continue Vicki Pitmon's legacy of superior service. He believes in preserving an “old fashioned” way of life, being in community, where people truly know you, understand you, and have your back. He favors face to face, voice to voice relationships, not on a screen!

Corey's family moved to Loveland in 1972. His parents Jim and Mary modeled community and building relationships.

Corey believes in adding value to others' lives by leading, serving, giving advice, and coaching others with your gifts and life experience. In his case, leveraging over 29 years of experience in insurance and wealth management.

Corey has been called the "Calm in the storm" due to his steady, calm personality. Customers have expressed he is able to explain complicated financial matters in simple terms.

Currently, Corey leads Home Team's team of Licensed Advisors, meets with customers to review and implement insurance and wealth management strategies. He serves the community through Mountain View Church, Loveland Chamber, Loveland Sertoma, and Loveland Rotary. He has been married to Carrie for 26 years, has three children, Gracyn, 27, a nurse at OCR, Kellan, 25, Data Analyst, and Hudson, 21, Kinesiology major and Linebacker at Northen Colorado University.

Co-Owner

Carrie was born in Cheyene and moved to Loveland with her family in 1986. She and Corey met in Algebra class at Loveland High School and have now been married for 28 years. Carrie is active at Mountain View Community Church and Liberty Common School. She loves serving others and making them feel at home. She encourages others to "be a good teammate."

Bonnie started her career in Insurance representing Allstate in the late 90's. Her 25-plus year career has included stops at some of the nation's leading insurance companies, giving her the necessary background to help customers deal with Mayhem and calm storms as they occur. Bonnie is proactive, helping customers plan and prepare before the storms of life occur. She leads Home Team's Huddle up coverage review process. Happily married to Steve and has three children and a proud a Marine Mom.

Hi there. I'm Jared. I've been in the insurance industry for 3 years now and I'm dedicated to providing a world class insurance experience. I've been in many positions over my adult life from: clothing, retail, bartending, live music production, to even working in computer science. This career path has made me a problem-solver. Insurance is a solution to many problems. When done right, it makes all the difference when the rubber meets the road. In my down time I enjoy a good game or movie with friends, or a moment alone in the shade enjoying the beautiful views Colorado has to offer.

Hello, my name is Adam Hickerson, I graduated from Methodist University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, concentrating in Professional Golf Management. After several years working in the golf industry, I transitioned into insurance following my move to Northern Colorado in 2022. I take pride in building strong relationships with clients and helping them develop insurance and risk-management programs tailored to their needs. My goal is to provide every client with peace of mind and the confidence that they are well protected in the event of a worst-case scenario. Outside of work, I enjoy golfing, giving golf lessons, skiing, hiking, and traveling with my wife and son.
